Pakistan is a distributor of several types of dates globally. Each year tons of fresh pitted/un-pitted Dates are harvested, processed and packaged for export.
Canampak Dates Industry is the exporter of main varieties of Pakistan Dates which are grown in large quantities for export and are briefly described below:

Sukkur Aseel

 Sukkur Aseel Dates are of prime quality grown in Sindh Province and harvested between 1st to 31st of August. These Dates are reddish, larger in size, and fleshy.

Begum Jangi (BJ)

Begum Jangi (BJ) Dates resemble the Sukkur Asil Dates and are grown in Turbat areas of the province of Balochistan. These are smaller in size than Sukkur Asil Dates and consists of lower moisture as compared to Sukkur Asil dates. These are harvested between August 15th to September 14th every year.

Khahrba Dates

Khahrba Dates are grown in Panjgoor & Mushkay areas of the province of Balochistan. These dates are smaller but sweeter and possess a lower moisture level. They are harvested between September 22nd to October 31st every year.

 

Balochistan Rabbi (BR)

Balochistan Rabbi (BR) Dates are grown in Mashkail area of the province of Balochistan. They are harvested between September 1st to September 30th every year.
